All-on-Four Treatment

All-on-Four Treatment

It can not be possible to place the implants in a standard way or advanced surgical treatments can be needed in conditions of bone deficiency or anatomical difficulties (mandibular nerve, maxillary sinüs) in the jaws. In this case, angled implants are used to use fixed dentures. With All-on-Four treatment, fixed dentures can be done over 4 implants in total by placing 2 straight and 2 angled implants into the jawbones.

How is All-On-4 Different From Traditional Implants?

The biggest difference is the number of implants. Unlike individual implants, All-on-4 or All-on-6 can replace all of a patient’s teeth using only four or six dental implants. All-on-4 also differs from traditional implants in that a bone graft is not typically required, and this implant type provides faster results.

How Long Does All-On-4 Take?

All-on-Four usually takes between 2-4 hours to be completed.

Is All-On-4 a Painful Procedure?

No. Most patients who get All-on-4 implants report experiencing less pain than they anticipated. Also, it is performed under local anesthesia or IV sedation.

How Long Does the Recovery Period Take?

The recovery process with All-on-4 is relatively quick, as compared with traditional dental implants, which take 3 to 4 months. From the first day, the implants begin fusing into the patient’s bone. Some people are even able to eat solid food on the day of their procedure.
